Together for Gavin: A Call to Support the Cabanit Family

On behalf of our dear colleague, friend, and mentor James Cabanit ( his wife, Jo Ann Cabanit) from Analog Devices Inc., we are humbly reaching out to raise support for his family as they face one of life’s greatest battles — their beloved 11-year-old son Gavin has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer.

James has been more than just a coworker to many of us.

For decades, he has been a pillar of strength, generosity, and guidance within the halls of ADI — always ready to lend a hand, share his wisdom, and look after the welfare of others. Now, it is our turn to stand by him and his family in their time of need.

Gavin’s journey will be long and difficult. He is set to undergo chemotherapy treatments, each costing approximately $10,000 per session, excluding additional medical and hospital expenses. The emotional, physical, and financial toll this brings to the family is beyond words.

Let us come together — as colleagues, friends, and family — to help ease their burden. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference in giving Gavin a fighting chance and showing James that he is not alone in this fight.
