Help Gator Cricket Club Reach New Heights

Gator Cricket Club is a sports club that represents the University of Florida in cricket in inter-university, regional, and national tournaments. To support the growth and development of cricket amongst the UF and the greater Gainesville community, we are fundraising to help with costs to cover expenses such as equipment and travel for games and tournaments. This March 19th-23rd, our club will participate in the National College Cricket Association National Championship to be held in Prairie View, Texas. We, as a club, would greatly appreciate any help offered to us as each dollar is a step closer for us to being able to play the sport that we love and cherish.

We have a long history of high level cricket that we hope to continue. In March 2020, we finished as the semi-finalists of the American College Cricket National Championship and runners-up of the same tournament in both March 2022 and March 2023. In 2024, during our first time playing in the 32-team NCCA championship, we finished as the only out of state college to make the semi finals. We are eagerly preparing and looking forward to going one step further to gain the title this time.

Sharing this would also be a massive help for us as we are trying to gain as much reach as possible for the sake of our club and cricket in general. We, as players, have put a lot of time, energy, and heart into our practice and workout sessions, organizing practice games for our fellow players, organizing and officiating in club tournaments, and encouraging local talent in the Gainesville area. Any form of support would be greatly received and appreciated!!
