Help Gary's Mom & Dad During His Hospitalization (ICU)

Hello everyone, many of you know my brother Gary has been in the hospital since September. Gary has a very rare disease called MSA-C (Multiple System Atrophy Cerebellar). This horrible disease is very rare and there isn’t much research on it. All we know is that there is no cure and gets worse and worse over the years. Gary has been fighting this disease for 13 years now.

At the end of August my brother got sick with Covid and an awful stomach virus back to back. Since then he has been declining and his disease seemed to have progressed rather quickly causing him to be hospitalized due to severe pain in legs. He spent a week at San Gorgonio Hospital in Banning and then got discharged only to go home suffering in pain. He landed back in the ER, this time at Loma Linda where he has been hospitalized for the last 2 weeks.

My Mom is his full time care giver and gets paid through the state. Since my brother has been hospitalized, she has not gotten paid putting my parents in financial distress. My Dad can only work very minimal hours per month due to being on disability and in all their free time they are bedside with Gary offering him support.

My parents are good, honest people who just want to be present with their son during the hardest time of his life. The last thing I want is for them to worry about finances and have another thing to stress about. They are driving back and forth daily to the hospital and eating hospital food most of the time. All of which gets expensive and adds up rather quickly.

I want to help them as much as possible to relieve any financial burden so they can focus on my brother.
