UPDATE: After a daunting weekend of combing through what was left of their personal belongs Gary and Leeann received help from an amazing group called "Samaritan's Purse." Their home sustained major damage but with the help of the community and Samaritan's Purse, they will be ready to start the long journey to rebuild very soon. We are still raising money to help Gary and Leeann rebuild their home to a livable condition.
Thank you again for all of your support.

In the early morning hours of July 4th, Gary Broach was able to escape his flooded home through a living room window. Thankfully, Leeann was not there but their home sustained total destruction. As many of you know Gary would give you the shirt off his back, and now he needs our help. Gary has been a longtime supporter of Kerr County, he has given tirelessly to veterans, feeding the hungry, Local 4-H Clubs ,FFA and most importantly, the youth of Kerr County. Unfortunately Gary and Leeann lost everything. Their home was outside of the floodplain and as of this morning, insurance has DENIED any coverage. We are raising money to help them rebuild and repair their home to livable state. As a family we are so thankful for all the support and look forward to brighter days ahead for Gary and Leeann.
Again, we are so thankful and continue to pray for this beautiful community we call home.
