Help Gary Lee Wolf Beat Cancer!

I am a client and friend of one of the most wonderful hairstylists in Long Beach. My friend Gary Lee Wolf is about to embark on the fight of his life against cancer, and he needs help to financially stay afloat.

Cancer has hit yet another undeserving person. Gary is one of the most fun, snarky, and kind people I know. Getting diagnosed with cancer is truly an unfair lot in life, but this is the hand Gary's been dealt. He will battle this insidious disease valiantly, and not having to worry about his finances will give him some peace of mind.

A few months ago, Gary discovered a lump in his neck, then found out it was malignant and had spread to some lymph nodes. There are three inoperable tumors at this point that are compromising his larynx and sinuses. After some delays, chemo finally, finally begins December 18, 2024, and of course, Gary has no idea how the medication will affect him.

As the owner of his hair salon, Gary is dependent on a regular schedule of customers to earn a living. Cancer treatments will likely disrupt the excellent service Gary typically provides, which in turn will affect his cash flow that pays not only his business and personal bills but also medical expenses. As a small business owner, Gary has given back in various ways, especially with his involvement with Steel Magnolias, a volunteer organization that fundraises to support children contending with behavioral and developmental issues.

While none of us knows what the future holds, Gary’s near future will be rough for sure. He’s a strong guy but we all need help sometimes, and this is why I've begun this fundraiser. I encourage you to help Gary Lee Wolf get through this tough time in his life, just as he's helped numerous children in Long Beach get the help they need.
