Help Gary Help Erin

Friends,

This Go Fund Me page is for my good friend, Gary Mantoosh. If you are a friend of Gary’s you already know that he has been fighting to keep his precious daughter Erin alive for some time now. It’s heartbreaking to think of how it would feel to have a child in such a vulnerable position. This is truly a story of how a parent will do whatever it takes when it comes to their child.

 

Erin was born with Spina Bifida and Lupus and has been dependent on her father Gary to care for her for several years as her health has progressively been declining. Gary has had to put aside his online business these past two years to be by Erin’s side through multiple doctors’ visits, surgeries, and hospital stays. This has undoubtedly put a strain on his financial status.

 

In 2020 Erin underwent a botched surgery that left her crippled, not breathing properly, and her spine literally collapsing. Gary searched every corner of America and came to find one of the very best surgeons in the world at Columbia Presbyterian NYC. On January 4, 2022, Erin survived a 14-hour surgery. The surgeon decompressed her spinal cord and straightened her spine out into a normal position; she has a full metal cage from the bottom of her back to the top of her neck. She was fortunate to have survived the surgery but still has a long way to go as she still remains on a ventilator, many more weeks in the hospital, then off to rehab.

 

Gary and Erin need all the support and prayers we can offer as they continue their journey of healing. Please find it in your heart to donate what you can to support them. It's dependent on Gary flying back to NYC to be with Erin while she is in the hospital.

 

This fundraiser is on behalf of Gary Mantoosh and all proceeds will go directly to him to help cover medical co-pays, miscellaneous medical expenses, and travel expenses.
