Help Gary Fec fight GBS

As many of you know, our dad, Gary Fecarotta, was suddenly affected by Guillain-Barré Syndrome in April and was hospitalized for three months. Unfortunately, GBS caused him to have complete paralysis of his arms and his legs before the doctors could even diagnose it.

He was in the hospital and intense inpatient rehab until July, working towards regaining his ability to walk. Our dad is fighting so hard to regain independence and self sufficient mobility, but he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Recovery time is expected to be about 1-2 years.

As you can imagine, his battle with GBS has also required our mom, Pam, to become his 24/7-caregiver while he is still wheelchair-bound. Needless to say, life and medical bills continue to accrue. They will also experience costs due to accommodations, travel expenses, loss of work, and home adjustments for wheelchair accessibility.

Many of you have graciously reached out asking if we had a GoFundMe for our dad because you wanted to help in any way possible so we decided to put one together for our Dad and his fight with GBS! We truly appreciate your positive thoughts, prayers and desires to help our parents overcome this sudden and unexpected diagnosis.
