Help Gary & Cats Beat the Heat Wave

My name is Gary Gerfin and I am attempting to collect funds so my cats and I may have a relatively cooler place to stay during this heat wave. I am still between homes, and apartment-hunting (under $1200, allows cats) has not been fruitful in NJ.

When it was still in the 70's, the car was doable. Not cozy on my back, but doable. But now I can no longer have my cats in the car while I am at work. On July 7th, I thought it would be cool enough to leave the cats in the car, with ample supply of food and water (with potty in back), as I have been doing to that day. Well, I got a big scare. Found out belatedly that temps went high. The trip from work to Patco lot had me filled with foreboding. Opening that car door, I was so glad they were still with me, but seeing them sweat-soaked and panting broke my heart. I quickly got in the car and got the A/C running full blast. I noticed the gallon water dispenser was almost empty. Wow. They recovered and were back to themselves soon. I do not want that episode to ever happen again. I need these guys.
