Help Gary Breen Fight Stage IV Colon Cancer
Donation protected
Diagnosis
Our dear friend, Gary Breen, was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. Gary is an avid pickleball player and thought maybe he had pulled a muscle playing pickleball one evening. After the pain didn’t go away, he went to the doctor who told him he had Stage IV cancer. We cannot imagine walking out of that appointment after initially thinking you had a pulled muscle.
Rare Cancer
After further investigation, Gary learned that he has a very rare form of cancer which has permeated some of the tissue lining other organs adjacent to the colon. [Metastatic Adenocarcinoma with mucinous features]
Personal and Family
As you can imagine, Gary’s friends and family are reeling from this shocking news. Gary has a beautiful wife, Angel, & supportive blended family of 4 adult children. He is an extrovert, always positive, engaging and loves people. Gary is known as a pickleball ambassador and taught Rick how to play. Gary is passionate about his relationship with God and seeks to share Christ through his personal story. Just like a son trusts a loving dad, Gary trusts God will be by his side; carrying him when necessary, every step of this unexpected journey.
How you can help support Gary and his family
