On February 14th, my dad (Gary Bishop) was in a terrible car accident. He was driving down the highway when someone in a Suburban hit him head-on. Both vehicles were completely totaled. Only by the grace of God, my dad survived. He was rushed to the emergency room at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, Montana. He broke 7 ribs, his sternum, and punctured a lung which collapsed. The doctors had to put two chest tubes in due to bleeding in his chest. He just turned 74 on February 17th. The last several days have been stressful on both of my parents. We are not sure how long my dad will be in the hospital.
My parents now have to replace the caravan which was destroyed in the accident. Unfortunately, financially this is not something they can afford. As a retired pastor living on social security, my dad is not financially able to pay for a new vehicle. Any money donated will help them be able to find a replacement vehicle. They live 45 miles from where they have to go for doctor appointments and groceries, which is why getting a vehicle is so important.
Thank you for anything you can do to help!
