Help Gary battle his fight with Leukaemia

Hi my name is Janelle, I have started this page with permission from my cousin Gary.

We would like to help raise money to help him with costs associated with assisting him fight his battle with Leukaemia. He has had to leave his 10 beautiful children and partner behind to move to Adelaide to get the treatment he desperately needs. The funds will help put him and his family at ease during this very hard and stressful time.

Garry was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 2020 and since then he has spent 11 gruelling moths of chemotherapy, injections into his tummy daily & numerous transfusions. He is now in Adelaide preparing for a transplant, this involves chemotherapy via IV, radiation therapy which will lead up to a stem cell transplant.

He is having to get to and from the hospital daily, he needs assistance with the cost of taxis’s/Uber as using public transport puts him more at risk of infection to illness’s such as COVID that would be so harmful to his body while he is undergoing this treatment. He also needs access to healthy options of foods while not in the hospital and to help support his caregiver (sister Melissa) while they are both in Adelaide.

He is hoping the treatment will be over in 2 months and he can go back to his children which he is missing dearly and they too are missing him.
