Support Gary Atkins Final Expenses

Update:

My sister and I are starting this GoFundMe page to ask for your help in supporting our father, Gary Atkins initially to help with costs of treatment and repairing his car. We are thankful and grateful for the support he received last year, as we were able to get his car fixed and some assistance with household needs and bills. At this moment, he could use more support.

If time allows, we plan to transport dad to Bartlesville for his remaining time. Dad was diagnosed with an aggressive lung cancer over two years ago and has fought hard and strong. Unfortunately, as we had began the process of moving him for better care, his home burned down, and it took everything but a few sentimental items. We've had to move much quicker getting him the care he needs. The time we have left with him is precious. As devastating as this news has been, we are determined to make the most of the time we have left with him.

Our dad has always been kind, selfless, generous, and dedicated to helping others. We are trying to find ways to support the cost of basic supplies that were lost in the fire, travel, and the cost of his final resting expenses. As you can imagine, it’s been overwhelming, but we are so grateful to have met dads friends and see how much he's loved.
