Help Gary and Val Zielinski with Care Costs

My name is Annette Ferek, on behalf of the Carillon Lakes Water Volleyball Club, we have established this GoFundMe to help our dear friends, Gary and Val Zielinski. Over the last couple of years, Gary and Val have dedicated so much of their time and resources to our community.

Last May, Gary was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Stage 4 brain cancer and had surgery to remove it. Gary's surgeons were unable to remove all the tumors. Since then, Gary went through radiation and 7 rounds of Chemotherapy treatments. As his condition continues to deteriorate, he requires full time in home caregivers. The cost is beyond what the family can afford and their insurance does not cover this expense. Due to the necessary steroids to control swelling on his brain, he has gained over 45 pounds and is harder to care for by Val alone, even the simplest of tasks. His balance, confusion, increased defiance and combative behavior have become more difficult to handle alone. Caregivers are now necessary 24 hours a day and are expensive. Please help Val and Gary, two extraordinary people, as they navigate through this journey.
