We are reaching out on behalf of Gary and Regina Wallace, they are close friends of ours, and they've tragically lost everything due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene. Their home and all of their personal belongings were completely destroyed by the storm, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their car. This disaster has turned their world upside down, and now they need our support.

What Happened?

On 9/26/2024, Hurricane Helene made landfall, causing widespread damage across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Unfortunately, Gary and Regina were directly in the path of the storm. Their home was severely flooded and battered by high winds, destroying everything from furniture, clothing, and treasured family memories to essential items needed for daily life. They have been displaced and are currently staying in temporary shelter, unsure of what the future holds.

Why We Need Your Help

Rebuilding after a disaster like this is a long and difficult journey. Gary and Regina not only need to find a new place to live, but they also need to replace everything they've lost, from basic household items to personal effects. They found out too late that their insurance did not provide flood coverage, and they are facing immense financial strain trying to pick up the pieces of their lives.
