Help Gary and Kathy Through This Unimaginable Time
Donation protected
On December 2nd, my uncle Gary underwent open-heart surgery. That same night, my aunt Kathy was rushed to the emergency room in excruciating pain, only to receive devastating news: she was diagnosed with stomach cancer that had spread to her colon and lymph nodes. Since then, our world has been turned upside down.
Kathy has undergone an incredibly intense surgery, during which doctors removed 37 lymph nodes, 80% of her stomach, and 70% of her colon. She just had a port placed and is preparing to start chemo and radiation treatments five days a week.
Meanwhile, Gary is still in the ICU following his open-heart surgery. He has faced complications, including the need for a ventilator, a tracheotomy, and a feeding tube. He’s fighting hard, but his journey is far from over.
Their only daughter, Sonya, is doing everything she can to care for both her parents while juggling a full-time job and supporting her own family. The emotional and financial weight of this situation is overwhelming, and that’s why we’re reaching out for help.
If you are able to donate, any amount would mean the world to us. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden of mounting medical bills, ongoing treatments, and day-to-day expenses during this unimaginably difficult time.
If you aren’t in a position to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this page with your friends and family would also be an incredible way to help. And, as always, your prayers and positive thoughts are deeply appreciated.
Gary and Kathy have a long road ahead, but we know they are strong and resilient. With your support, we can help give them the strength and resources they need to keep fighting.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and compassion.
