Hi there, my name is Gary, I currently live in Clarksville Tennessee, I moved here seven years ago, but I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago.

I am here today because 2025 has not been very good to me at all. I have been evicted from an apartment that I’ve been in for seven years, I rented a room from somebody but he didn’t own the house and when the owner of the house found out he was not happy and let me live there temporarily, but decided to sell the house and give me a 30 day notice. I was making OK money driving for Uber, but I had to rent a car in order to do that. So basically I was making just enough money to cover my rent on the car and the house I was staying at, but I had no extra funds to move into a new place. The only option I thought I had left was to move into a hotel. I’m also divorced and I have shared custody of an almost 7-year-old boy. On weekend studies with me I typically don’t work but this past weekend that he is with me I got a sitter for a few hours, but was only able to make enough money to cover the hotel room, unfortunately the rental car could not be paid and therefore because I got behind a few days, they shut the car off on me and picked it up. I then only had a couple days off to stay at a hotel. What that means is that I no longer have a place to live, and I no longer have any income coming in. I have been applying for jobs for the past two weeks. However, I am currently living on the streets and can use some help to get back on my feet.
