Help Gary and Barbara

Gary Crouthamel has been a significant figure in many lives. He was instrumental in founding the technical aspects of the leather restoration craft that has supported many families.

He has also been a strong spiritual influence on their Christian walk through the years. Many of our Gospel Outreach family know Gary and Barbara. What they might not know is that they are in trouble.

Gary is descending into dementia as he gets older. He is already past the point where he can work, provide for Barbara or effectively care for himself.

His life is a string of bizarre antics, hallucinations, and paranoia. The crushing burden of his care has fallen on Barbara. She is under extreme financial pressure because their business is crippled.

They cannot meet their daily expenses and have no savings or insurance to help deal with the situation. The need is critical.

When an adult slides into dementia, old friends and acquaintances tend to draw back, not knowing how to deal with the tragedy. This is Gary and Barbara's dilemma. We are committed to not draw back.

We are asking you to help the Crouthamel’s by giving a modest donation to help at least defray the costs. A small commitment from many who know and love them will help.

Gary may not last long as these situations tend to self-terminate. We are setting up this GoFundMe account to help them for at least one year.
