In January of 2025, I experienced a life-changing accident when I fell off a roof. The fall left me with 10 fractured ribs and four vertebrae that eventually needed to be fused. Recovery has been a long and difficult journey, and after 14 months of light duty, it’s been especially challenging to bounce back at 67 years old. I’ve just returned to work, but unfortunately, my rent is now past due, and I’m facing some tough financial hurdles.

The funds raised here will go directly toward paying my rent, car insurance, and gas so I can get to work until I receive my first paycheck. These essentials are critical for me to maintain stability and continue my recovery. I’m doing my best to stay positive and keep moving forward, but I could really use a helping hand right now.
