Help Garrett Replace Stolen Tools and Schooling

Hey y’all!

I created this fundraiser on behalf of my nephew Garrett.  He is currently enrolled in school for Gunsmithing in Colorado. They were sent home for remote learning over the Thanksgiving break but last minute they announced that in person classes would resume. He drove 10 hours from Nebraska back to Colorado after just being home 2 days.  He had all of his belongings with him and arrived very late/early morning.  They are not
allowed to bring their guns into the dorms and they are usually locked into a vault. He knew the vault manager was a mother to 3 young children and didn’t want to call her and risk waking the children.  Unfortunately, someone broke into his truck and stole all 7 of his guns and his tools for class! (2 of those guns have sentimental value and could never be replaced) That’s not even the worst  of it..here’s the real heartbreaker....Those guns were his projects for school. He was set to graduate at the end of December but now he doesn’t have those projects or any tools he is no longer able to graduate. He is heartbroken. Garrett was so excited to be finished and move back home. He is coming home to work from December until April. He will be saving to pay for school, the dorm, and replacing his.  In April he will go back to school until he graduates.

Insurance will replace the guns but will   not replace the tools. Garrett will also have more schooling he was not expecting as well as the insurance deductible.  I am hoping to raise money  to help with those costs and to show this country boy from small town Nebraska    that even though sometimes people suck there are more good people in this world than bad.

Garrett is and always has been a very responsible young man. Growing up workin the farm with his uncle and grandparents and he is currently employed at  the town hardware store. This was a very hard lesson to learn. Please no negative comments as my nieces and nephews are like my own children and you will see a mama bear in a way you have never seen before. Garrett is so humble he almost didn’t even let me set up this fundraiser... I had to convince him. I know times are tough for many right now and if you are unable to donate please pray for Garrett’s heart and for the person(s) who stole his items. If you are able to donate even $5, we would forever be grateful! ❤️

Thank you!!
