Hello Friends,

Many of you know Garnet Fiordalisi,  as
she has touched so many lives
developing beautiful athletes on the ice
for years in California. She is also a caring mother to three beautiful daughters, a
loving wife to her husband Bob, and a
good friend to all that know her.

Garnet is a very private person, but has
given us permission to share her current
family struggle.

Garnet’s husband Bob was just
diagnosed, and is now fighting for his life,
from a rare form of cancer called
Multiple Myeloma.

There are several types of Myeloma.
Multiple Myeloma is a cancer of the
plasma cells that affects several areas of
the body.  Multiple Myeloma is
diagnosed when more than one
plasmacytoma, or tumor develops. Plasmacytomas most often begins developing
in the bone marrow, eventually
spreading through the marrow and later
the bone itself.

Bob had immediate surgery to remove
the tumor, a disc replacement on his
spine where the bone is disintegrating,
and a bone biopsy. As of now we don’t
know the results from the biopsy.

Our biggest concern is that Garnet will
not have the resources to be able to
maintain the day to day expenses of bills,
food, rent and soon to follow medical
bills if she follows the doctors orders.
Garnet must quarantine for two to three
weeks to keep Bob safe from Covid, as
well as to help take care of him in his
time of need.

We want to raise as much money as we
can so Garnet can follow the doctor‘s
orders, and not worry about coaching
right now and the upcoming medical
expenses.
