Hi name is Emma King, I am fundraising for my dad Garland King. In 2019 my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, it is a rare aggressive blood cancer. Due to his cancer it has caused his arm and leg to break. It is a type of cancer that over produces proteins that create lesions (tumors) that grab onto the bone causing it to weaken. He has received a shoulder replacement and two surgeries on his leg. In the last 2 years to now he has been hospitalized on multiple occasions due to the cancer continuing to become more and more aggressive. Garland is unable to work due to his cancer which has put him on disability, the expenses and medical bills only continue to grow and money has been very tight.
