Help Gari with his heart condition

3 days ago, Mary and I discovered awful news about Gar Vinluan, our Content Manager based in the Philippines was confined in the hospital on June 22 to 23 to undergo a procedure to help save his life. Please see Gari's message below.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking time to read this.

I've have a heart condition for a long time now. I've been under medical management: quarterly treatments and monthly maintenance for years. But as I age, like with many people, some complications developed.

My coronary artery was found to blockages obstructing blood flow causing me to experience rapid heartbeat, irregular heart rate. My cardiologist advised having it treated immediately to prevent cardiac arrest, stroke, and other alarming causes from happening.

On June 23. 2021, I had a cardiac stent procedure where stents were placed in the coronary artery permanently to hold the artery open to improve blood flow.

I had 2 stents placed and the total cost was PHP640,000 ($13,000USD). Half of it was already paid courtesy of my half-siblings' assistance and my savings. The remaining half is on a promissory note, giving me 30-45 days to issue the payment.

I recently posted on my Facebook account regarding seeking assistance from friends and their circles. So far, we collected PHP18,000 ($400USD), a generous amount but still a long way to go.

Any help from Boostlingo family is truly and greatly appreciated. Words won't be enough to express how thankful I am.
