Help Gargoyle Overcome Breathing Struggles
Donation protected
This is Gargoyle. He was found on the streets in 2022 wounded, emaciated, and full of infection. Despite the horrific amount of neglect and abuse he suffered, he is still full of love and life.
While we have been able to do alot to improve his overall quality of life, there is one thing we need help with.
Gargoyle is more than likely the result of backyard breeding and unfortunately because backyard breeders do not care for the health of the dog-only the look, he suffers from Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome. And more unfortunate, as he's gotten older it has gotten worse.
There is a wonderful doctor in Post falls who can do the surgery, but it is between $1800 and $2,300. More if there are unknown complications.
With four other rescues one of which being a senior dog on hospice, funds are stretched thin. I am asking for as many people who can to help.
I want gargoyle to be able to run and play like other dogs without running the risk of heat stroke or passing out after just 2 minutes of play. I want him to be able to breathe and not have people think he's growling ready to bite. I want him to live a long life with his bonded friend, a husky named Coda. I don't want him to struggle with every breath he takes anymore.
