Hi everyone, my name is Gaoyer Vang.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve seen my life as a blessing. I’ve been given four beautiful children — two sons and two daughters — who fill my days with laughter and love. I’ve also been lucky enough to find a wonderful man who loves and supports not only me, but my kids as his own. Together, we’ve built a small world filled with love, dreams, and hope.

Life hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve always believed that no matter how hard things get, I can keep moving forward. But this year — 2025 — has tested my strength in ways I never imagined.

In May, I lost my father. His passing left an emptiness in my heart that I’m still learning to live with. Then, shortly after, my world was shaken again when I was told that the cyst I had on my left arm was not what we thought. It was stage 3 breast cancer.

Hearing those words broke me. I remember sitting there in silence, thinking about my kids, my boyfriend, and the life I still want to live. There were so many tears, so much fear — but deep down, I knew I couldn’t give up. I still have so much to fight for.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of my treatments and surgery as I begin this battle against cancer. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to recovery — one step closer to more time with my family, more laughter, and more life.
