Help Gannets Have a Safe Home

Hello!

You probably already know who I am, but if not here's the short version: I've been involved with Goonstation as a player, mentor, spriter, admin, mapper, graphic designer, musician, wizard & most recently developer since 2014.
Since leaving uni me and my wife have worked minimum wage retail, with freelance side-gigs and after years of saving we bought our first house two years ago. 17 months ago, we had our first daughter. As of today, I don't have a safe home for her to live.

There's been a multitude of issues that have come to light with our property since buying, but the living room floor began to sag and bend underfood and having called in tradesmen to look at the damage, they discovered the floorboards and joists were rotten through and a deep pool of water that had formed under our feet.
The entire floor will need removing, the water drained & new floors installed. We cannot live here while this happens. Our nearest family is an hour and a half north of us and we may have to stay with them for a few weeks while work is done.

If we're lucky, our home insurance will cover the worst of the work. Which is estimated to cost around £10,000, which is why I chose that as the donation goal (thought I don't at all expect to reach that.) We're currently making a claim but if they choose not to pay out, our savings would be emptied making our home habitable. If insurance does pay and people have also donated, we intend to use the funds to solve other issues around the house, like the shower that leaked until the basin gave way or the rotten doorframes. We would close the fundraiser at that point.

TL;DR please help, my floor is now a swimming pool and my baby can't swim.
