My name is Sajan Kandel. I am starting this campaign of GoFundMe to help my lovely father have the fastest recovery from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). As a part of the regular treatment, he provided his blood sample for examination at SAHARA HOSPITAL, Lucknow, UP, India. After the Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy, it was diagnosed with some features of Acute leukemia.

Further, as a part of the procedure Immunophenotyping was recommended.

Currently, he has been hospitalized at RAJIV GANDHI CANCER INSTITUTE AND RESEARCH CENTRE, New Delhi, India since 04 March 2023. As a part of the ongoing treatment, he is regularly having chemotherapy followed by Allogenic Stem Cell Transplant.

After 21 days of vigorous treatment, the doctors have come to the conclusion that he must have Bone Marrow Transplant.

We are a middle-class family. My mother is herself a patient with recent cyst removal surgery. We are two brothers in our family. My younger brother is a teacher at a Hospitality Management College and I in the search of better education and career moved to Australia in 2017.

My dad is a kind and religious person who has always had good faith in hard work and always puts his family first. He has worked hard all his life to make our life better. It is really painful for us to see our father lying on the hospital bed at just 51. He has definitely a lot to do in the future for his family and friends, and hence he deserves a chance to get away from this illness.

We a family of 4 members have shifted to a rental house in New Delhi to be close to his monitoring and treatment. So far we have managed to adjust accommodation costs and some basic treatment expenses from our savings. Moreover, we are still trying our best to accumulate further funds for the final stage of treatment. The amount for Bone Marrow Transplant is itself a huge money IRs. 25,00,000 ( AUD 45,000) plus the accommodation, travel, hotel, and medical costs are expensive we are still having a tough time to fulfill the ongoing financial deficit during the treatment.

Hence, with a heavy heart, I would like to request some financial help and prayers for my dad. Your small contribution will help us reach the final treatment. We will humbly accept your assistance with immense gratitude. Everything you donate will directly go to my father's betterment.
