I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of Gambina, a sweet mixed-breed boxer who is fighting for her life after a devastating hit-and-run accident.

Gambina was found limping helplessly in a park, trembling in pain, after being struck by a car that didn’t stop to help. Her injuries are heartbreaking — she has a fractured rear left leg and tailbone. Because of the trauma, Gambina cannot control her bladder or bowels, and every moment without proper care worsens her condition.

Despite all she's been through, Gambina has shown nothing but trust, gentleness, and the will to keep going. She limps over (as best she can) when she sees a friendly face and nuzzles into your hand as if to say, "Thank you for not giving up on me."

But now, we need your help.

Veterinarians estimate that Gambina will need $2,112 to cover:

Urgent surgery to repair her fractured leg and spine, and worse case scenario, possible amputation.

Medications to manage pain and prevent infection

Post-operation care, including pain management, exams, and a safe space to heal

This surgery could be the difference between a life of suffering and a second chance at a pain-free, happy life.
