On Saturday, October 18th, Galen Howard was riding his electric bike to work at First Watch. He was tragically hit by a car that did not stop. He has undergone surgeries and spent weeks in the ICU. He was recently released from the hospital but due to his lack of insurance, he is not able to go to a rehabilitation center as he needs to. Galen needs physical therapy as he doesn't have full control over his arms and fine motor skills.

Since Galen was in the hospital for such a long time with no income, he has lost his apartment and is currently living in a homeless shelter with staying with friends is not an option.

Galen is 20 years old with no medical insurance and an extremely small support system outside of his First Watch Family. Any funds raised will go directly to Galen to help with his medical bills and future care that he will need.

The police are still actively investigating the hit and run and are tracking down some leds.
