Gale Palmer- Father, Husband, Friend, and so much more. Gale is loved and respected by many. In August 2019 Gale was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (cancer in his plasma blood cells). When diagnosed his bone marrow was 90% affected. Treatments began immediately and are still continuing at this time. The treatments consist of intensive chemo, a stem cell transplant, and full body radiation. We are hoping that the treatments are as effective as the doctor expects, but we will not know the outcome for a very long time. The best outcome is for it to be put into a remission stage with continued monitoring and blood tests, Gale will live with this for the rest of his life. Throughout this difficult process, Gale has shown great bravery, positivity and resolve while also still being there for his family and continuing to work full time. Now all of you have the opportunity to help Gale and his family. The medical bills continue to pile up, he has an upcoming two week hospital stay for his stem cell transplant. This hospital stay and mandatory recovery time will be the only time that Gale will miss full days of work. We hope that we can raise enough money to ease some of the financial burden this has created for Gale and his family. With this money we are hoping to allow Gale to focus on his fight and his family.
