My friend, Gail Wagner, has been struggling with ALS for three years. ALS is a devastating and incurable disease that robs its victims of mobility and, eventually, life. And life has completely changed for Gail. When I met her, she was a vibrant senior citizen, independent and active. Now she's confined to bed and unable to do much for herself. In spite of her massive health issues, she remains positive and concerned about other people.

But a lot of expenses have piled up, medical and otherwise. She's been in and out of the hospital, and even when she's relatively stable, living in a care home is very expensive. Her savings and nest eggs are gone, and she's in dire straits financially.

Times are rough for everyone right now, but Gail's situation is especially precarious. Please, if you can spare anything, please contribute to Gail. She's truly needy, unable to do anything to better her situation, and in spite of everything, she manages to smile.
