Gail Rahill contracted COVID-19 on January 1st. She has severe rheumatoid arthritis as well as a gestational disease. Due to her health deficits she has been rendered severely immunocompromised and COVID-19 has been an uphill battle. Gail has taken two separate trips to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, and now is currently at Buffalo General Hospital after being discharged, where doctors thought the issue had been resolved. Gail needs consistent oxygen at this time to allow her lungs to heal from the arthritis flare up and pneumonia caused from COVID-19. Doctors are currently conducting a plethora of tests to detect the reasoning behind her consistent struggles- nonetheless Gail is physically, mentally and emotionally going through it. She is incredibly determined to rehabilitate herself to the point where she may return home to heal.
Her daughters, Meghan and Emma Rahill, have been caring for their mother once they themselves got over COVID-19 at the same time in early January. Emma has been unable to work since this began, and Meghan has frequent meetings that involve travel. Their mother has also, for obvious reasons, been unable to work. Additionally, the two are currently living in Buffalo to care for their Grandmothers while going back and forth from Buffalo General to help with their mother. This situation has been grueling and tiresome, and we are asking for financial help for medical expenses, food, and daily living costs.
Anyone who has the generosity to help in this situation would be greatly appreciated. This is a tightly-knit family who thrives on independence and hard work, and right now they require all the help possible to combat this. I hope that you may donate anything you are able to in order to help the girls through this extremely difficult time.
Anything is helpful. I am extremely grateful for anyone who helps in any way.
