Help to support Gail Moran's recovery from accident

This is our dear friend Gail Moran. She was driving to work this past Monday morning, December 2nd in North Merrick when her truck hit a patch of black ice on the road which had formed from a leak coming from the pavement. Gail's truck spun out of control and she was hit head on at high speed by another car. She was ejected from her vehicle and suffered critical injuries including a lacerated skull, internal bleeding, a broken leg , a fractured hip, a crushed pelvis, broken ankle and multiple fractured vertebrae She needed blood transfusions and has had four surgeries this week so far to repair her multiple broken bones and injuries. In 2018, Gail had lost her daughter Leeann, who was murdered. Gail now has custody of her daughter's son Shane who was three when his Mother was killed. This accident is another traumatic experience for both of them. Gail has a long hard road ahead of her before she will be able to care for her grandson Shane and get back to work. Unfortunately she does not have any sick time available through her job with Nassau County at this time. I ask everyone to open your hearts to Gail and to help to ease her worries of paying bills and medical expenses during her recovery. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
