Help Gage get back on his feet after car accident.

Hi, my name is Brydie and I’m attempting to raise funds for my little brother Gage.

Gage was involved in an accident on the Princes Hwy in Nar Nar Goon on Friday the 9th of May 2025 whilst heading to work.

The car which collided with Gage was driven by 5 teenagers who had stolen the vehicle from South East Melbourne.

The dashcam footage provided by a witness of the accident shows the stolen vehicle colliding with Gage doing in excess of 150 km p/h. Gage’s car has now been declared a write off.

After spending a few days at the Alfred Hospital, Gage is incredibly lucky to be walking away from this accident with very little physical injury however he will carry the emotional trauma of this accident forever.

Gage had only purchased his new car in February of 2025, putting all of his savings towards the deposit. Whilst a car can be replaced and his life cannot, after conversations with his insurance company, Gage will be close to $6k out of pocket (excess, even though a police report has been provided, the remainder of his insurance premium, the remainder of his registration and a number of other charges that will come out of the payout figure).

I am attempting to raise these funds as I don’t believe it’s fair for Gage to be out of pocket after such an event and currently no one is being held responsible for the behaviour of the 13yo driver.
