**** Please Help Gage Make His Life Dream A Reality Before It's Too Late!! ***
This is Jim Baron of Madison, WI. My best friend, Paul Beske's only son, Gage, is fighting the battle of his life against all odds. At just 30 years of age and a dedicated full-time Fed-Ex delivery driver, he suddenly began to experience blurry vision, headaches and inexplicable insomnia for one full week. After a visit to the Emergency Room, he had an MRI at UW Hospital where they found an aggressive golf ball sized astrocytoma tumor lodged between his brain and spinal cord. After tumor removal surgery, he proceeded with radiation and chemotherapy treatments to attempt to stop the cancer from returning.
Three weeks post-radiation and chemo, he was recovering well - and was even looking forward to returning to work - when out of the blue he had a violent seizure while sleeping which left his body battered and hope for full recovery even more bruised. After a 2nd MRI, three new tumors, one which was in the same spot where the original tumor had been removed, were found. The doctors can remove two of the new tumors surgically, but sadly one cannot be removed without drastically affecting his short term memory. His survival prognosis is now just 12 - 18 months for this very aggressive form of cancer.
At the top of his bucket list is a wish to fulfill his life dream to visit a long-range shooting facility. Therefore the purpose of this GoFundMe page is to raise enough funds for him and his father, Paul, to escape the constant cancer worries for just a few days and visit the renowned JL Ranch Resort, Bar & Spa (https://jlbar.com/) located in the majestic Texas hill country. Paul and Gage are not only just father and son - they share a very special bond of shared interests and friendship.
Anything you can contribute towards this cause would be greatly appreciated. Time is of the essence! Please repost and share so that we can quickly reach our goal to make Gage's last wish a reality before his time runs out.
