Hi, my name is Gael. I’m 10 years old, and I’m fighting cancer.

A few months ago, doctors found a tumor in the bone of my left arm. My family and I didn’t understand much at first — we only knew it was something serious. I had surgery to remove the tumor and part of the bone, and even though it was hard, I’m trying to be strong every day.

I still have 5 more months of chemotherapy ahead, and I spend a lot of time in the hospital. Some days I feel brave, and other days I get scared, but I try to keep smiling because I want to go back to running, playing, and being a normal kid again.

My family is doing everything they can, but the cost of hospitalization is very high. That’s why we’re asking for help.

Hace unos meses me encontraron un tumor en el hueso de mi brazo izquierdo. Mi familia y yo no entendíamos mucho, solo sabíamos que era algo muy serio. Me hicieron una cirugía para quitar el tumor y parte del hueso, y aunque fue difícil, estoy tratando de ser fuerte todos los días.

Aún me quedan 5 meses de quimioterapia, y paso mucho tiempo en el hospital. A veces me siento valiente, a veces me da miedo, pero siempre trato de sonreír porque quiero volver a jugar, correr y hacer cosas normales como antes.

Mi familia está haciendo todo lo posible, pero los gastos de hospitalización son muy altos. Por eso estamos pidiendo ayuda.
