Hola! I am Gaby Melian, and I am raising money toward having my own production company so I can create and launch better content, hire video professionals to help me produce a pilot for my show: "SHOW ME YOUR KITCHEN."

This is an important step for me to take control of my creative projects and bring my vision to life.

In case you don't know me (thanks for reading this!), let me tell you a little bit more about me and what I do!

I am a Professional Chef, educator, food storyteller, lifelong kitchen nerd, recipe developer, and your favorite Gabber!

I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, surrounded by home cooks and amazing family meals. After Journalism School, I chased my food dreams to NYC, trained as a pro chef, and started sharing my love of cooking with the world.

From test kitchens to Social Media, I've worn a ton of hats (private chef, culinary instructor, book author, kitchen organizer, you name it). These days, you’ll find me whipping up new recipes, tips, and ideas on how to organize your kitchen for my blog and social media, from Gaby’s Kitchen—my own Culinary Studio- in Jersey City with my trusty sous-chef, Pucho the dog.

WHAT IS SHOW ME YOUR KITCHEN?

Many of you know that for years, I have been developing this unique show concept because I truly believe it has the power to connect with audiences in a meaningful way. I have a YouTube channel with great content, but that is not enough. I do not monetize, so finding sponsors is almost impossible.

So here is where you can become my producer! Let me tell you a bit more about my idea! (Should I make you sign an NDA?)

"Show Me Your Kitchen"

You do not need a professional kitchen to cook; you only need an organized and clean kitchen and some basic equipment, and of course someone to show you what the FLOW of your space is to maximize it, work efficiently, and on your budget. Bottom line, this is my scope:

A KITCHEN ORGANIZING SHOW, WHERE I SHOW UP AT YOUR PLACE AND ORGANIZE YOUR KITCHEN! I want to help people like YOU: who are renting their apartment or house, who can’t afford to knock walls down, who live paycheck to paycheck but want to be able to cook at home, who want to eat better and do not have to spend a fortune doing so, and who need a bit of guidance on where and how to start.

And that is when I show up and share my wisdom and the 20 + years of experience working with clients I have! WIN, WIN!

Unfortunately, after sharing this idea during a meeting in 2021, my concept was taken and produced later with someone else who fits the “standard” LA wife, high-end American host; in all honesty, they turned it into another Fancy Kitchen Remodeling Show, which, don’t get me wrong, it's great; I used to consume every house remodeling show on cable TV years ago! But they knew it was my idea, and they ran with it!

The experience of having my idea stolen was heartbreaking; I hated myself for being so naive and trusting. I could not believe these two producers stole my idea so shamelessly, but it also solidified my determination to bring my original vision to life on my own terms.

Now, the only way for me to make this project a reality is by raising the necessary funds myself.

My goal is to produce a pilot consisting of three episodes, working with a professional video crew to ensure the highest quality. With your support, I can finally create the show as I originally imagined it—authentic, creative, and true to my vision.

As you might know, I have been freelancing and creating everything on my own since 2020, from my kitchen: Gaby’s Kitchen. Where I produced every single piece of content you get to enjoy, by myself and on my budget.

Every contribution will go directly toward production costs: hiring a skilled crew, renting equipment, securing locations, and covering post-production expenses.
