Help Gaby Melian get Gaby's Kitchen back on the front burner

Hi! I am Gaby Melian, a chef, teacher, and book writer; you might have seen me on Instagram or You Tube!

I have been cooking for more than 20 years, my career took many turns, and I was at some point in the right place at the right time, a well-known food magazine that overnight became an internet video sensation,

But many things in life come to an end. The reason why my journey ended at BA is long and hard to explain, and I am not here for that.

I've been freelancing for almost 5 years, teaching, cooking, organizing, and babysitting. Sometimes, I do get paid to do campaigns with companies I like, create content, and write on my blog. Maintaining all of this costs money, plus maintaining my kitchen and equipment. I applied to so many food jobs that at some point after the 15th resume I sent last year to multiple food media companies, I gave up. I got depressed, is it me? Am I too old, or maybe cursed? LOL, and the list goes on!

I know what you are thinking, “but you wrote 2 books”!, Yeah, I did! But I am not making any royalties yet!

Being a freelancer is hard, I do not have a plan B, or someone to pay my bills and my rent, I won’t even start with the price of eggs ( I have a theory about it, but you have to join my YouTube lives to hear it)

So here we are: This is the part where I kindly ask for your support. I want to get my business, Gaby's Kitchen, back on the front burner, and for that, I need a bit of financial help. I am in the weeds like we say in the kitchen, I am not super proud to be doing this, but I am thinking of you, my loyal community that so many times offered to support me on countless other outlets, I need to update Gaby's Kitchen, pay bills, get some equipment better sound and lighting, to keep doing those LIVEs and videos you love!
