Hi everyone,

My name is Gabrielle and I'm seeking your help to help with the disaster that hurricane Melissa has left my family.

Melissa has been the strongest hurricane my country has ever faced and its landfall and major destruction occurred in my parish of St. Elizabeth. We are known as the bread basket of the country as we are a farming and fishing community along the coastline. It will take a long time for us to recover from this terrible Category 5 Hurricane.

Being away from home is not easy but I'm trying to do what I can from here to ensure that my family and surrounding community can drink safe water, have food to eat and whatever emergency necessities they may need.
