Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I find myself in a challenging and vulnerable position, and I’m reaching out for your support during this difficult time. I have been in the hospital since July 24th due to a severe infection that has affected multiple areas of my body, including my heart, neck, right shoulder, left eye, and left hip. This unexpected health crisis has completely changed my life.

Over the past few weeks, I have undergone multiple surgeries on my right shoulder, left eye, and left hip. I am currently on a six-week course of intravenous antibiotics, and the road to recovery is still long and uncertain. My medical team has informed me that I will likely need physical therapy once I leave the hospital, which may require me to stay in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. Unfortunately, this means I will be out of work for an extended period, and I am feeling overwhelmed by the financial burden that is piling up.

As I focus on healing, I am also grappling with anxiety over my finances. I have bills that need to be paid, including my phone bill and other essential expenses that come directly out of my checking account. The stress of these financial obligations is taking away from my ability to recover, and I am reaching out for help.

I am also facing housing challenges as I do not have a place to live when I'm discharged from the hospital or the physical therapy facility. I'm going to need the money to pay for first month and security as soon as I am discharged. Without being able to make any money in my current situation, I am solely dependent on the kindness of friends family and strangers.
