Hi! I’m Gabriella, In 2022, our family lost our home. In 2023, we moved in with my parents, where my husband, our three children, and I have been living together in a single shared bedroom ever since. Recently, our lives finally took a turn for the better when we were accepted into a low income apartment. An opportunity that would truly change our lives. We are scheduled to move in on February 1st and began preparing with so much hope.

Unfortunately, while organizing and preparing for the move, we went to our storage unit and discovered something devastating. Every single item we owned had been destroyed by a severe mice infestation at the storage facility. This included all of our cookware, memory boxes, collectibles we planned to sell to help get back on our feet, TVs, and nearly everything we worked hard for in our previous home. Most heartbreaking of all, we lost all of our furniture, including beds and mattresses.

We have exhausted every possible option to try to at least provide mattresses for our children to sleep on as we rebuild our lives. However, doing so on our own would mean we would not be able to afford our move-in deposits and other essential costs required to secure this apartment.

We know times are tough for everyone, but we are humbly asking for help. Donations will go toward mattresses for our children and for my husband and me, basic cookware and utensils, a couch, bedding, and a few essential household items we will need to get by as we recover from this immense and unexpected loss.
