Hi, my name is Gabriella Marquez, and this year I am trying to raise money for my trip to A Cappella Academy! For me, A Cappella Academy isn’t just a summer camp, it feels like home. It’s a place where I truly belong. From the very first time I stepped into rehearsal, surrounded by voices blending together in harmony, I felt something click inside me. It was more than just singing. It was connection. It was storytelling. It was passion coming alive. Music has always been a part of me, but A Cappella Academy is where my love for singing truly grew into something bigger. It’s where I learned that music isn’t just about hitting the right notes, it’s about expressing emotion, building confidence, collaborating with others, and finding your voice in more ways than one. Every rehearsal pushed me to grow, not only as a singer, but as a person. I learned discipline, teamwork, vulnerability, and how powerful it is to create something beautiful with others. Before attending camp, I loved music. But during camp, I realized that music is what I want to dedicate my life to. Being surrounded by mentors and other passionate singers showed me what is possible when you follow your heart. I discovered that singing isn’t just something I enjoy, it’s who I am. When I’m performing, arranging, or even just harmonizing with others, I feel the most like myself. A Cappella Academy gave me the clarity and confidence to say: this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. It helped me see a future where I can continue growing as an artist, sharing music with others, and inspiring people the same way I’ve been inspired. This year, I am raising money to be able to return to that place that shaped me so deeply. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to continuing this journey. Hola, mi nombre es Gabriella Marquez y este año estoy tratando de recaudar fondos para mi viaje a A Cappella Academy. Para mí, A Cappella Academy no es solo un campamento de verano, se siente como mi hogar. Es un lugar donde realmente pertenezco. Desde la primera vez que entré a un ensayo y escuché las voces unirse en armonía, sentí algo muy especial dentro de mí. No era solo cantar. Era conexión. Era contar historias a través de la música. Era sentir mi pasión cobrar vida. La música siempre ha sido parte de mí, pero en A Cappella Academy fue donde mi amor por el canto se convirtió en algo mucho más grande. Allí entendí que la música no se trata solo de cantar las notas correctas, sino de expresar emociones, ganar confianza, trabajar en equipo y encontrar tu voz en todos los sentidos. Cada ensayo me ayudó a crecer, no solo como cantante, sino también como persona. Aprendí disciplina, colaboración, valentía y el poder que tiene crear algo hermoso junto a otras personas. Antes de asistir al campamento, sabía que me gustaba la música. Pero fue allí donde me di cuenta de que la música es lo que quiero hacer por el resto de mi vida. Estar rodeada de mentores y jóvenes con la misma pasión me abrió los ojos a todo lo que es posible cuando sigues tu corazón. Descubrí que cantar no es solo algo que disfruto es parte de quien soy. Cuando estoy en el escenario, creando armonías o simplemente cantando con otros, me siento completamente yo misma. A Cappella Academy me dio la claridad y la confianza para decir: esto es lo que quiero para mi futuro. Me ayudó a imaginar una vida donde pueda seguir creciendo como artista, compartir mi música y también inspirar a otros como yo he sido inspirada. Este año estoy recaudando fondos para poder regresar a ese lugar que marcó mi vida de una manera tan profunda. Cada donación, sin importar la cantidad, me acerca un paso más a continuar este sueño. Su apoyo no solo me ayuda a asistir al campamento, significa creer en mí, en mi crecimiento y en mi pasión.
