I have been struggling with health issues all my life, starting with thyroid disease, osteoarthritis, and many more ongoing diagnoses. More recently, I’ve faced new medical challenges that have made it difficult to work consistently. The cost of treatment and bills has left me struggling financially, sometimes unable to even feed myself. In December 2024, I suffered a heart attack while working a job where I was underpaid, and since then, my life has been a series of hardships. My mom and stepdad are divorcing, my Nonna passed away from Alzheimer's, and my step-grandma was tragically killed by my step-grandpa. All happening 1-2 months of each other after my heart attack. During this time, I was also in a toxic relationship that took a toll on my well-being.

Just as I began to receive better medical care and new diagnoses, I was blindsided and kicked out of the place I had called home for three years. The day after Easter, I was forced to leave with a poorly packed bag, missing essential medications and belongings. I couldn't take my cats, and ended up at my parents' house, which is also unstable due to their divorce and the impending sale of their home. Now, I'm chronically ill, facing mounting bills, and at risk of not having a place to sleep this year.

Having a GoFundMe will help me raise a head start and relieve the financial stress of securing a place to live. I have a full-time job and I'm searching for an all-utilities-included studio apartment—the lowest in my area is for a small space.
