Our beloved 9-year-old Gabriella is currently facing the biggest battle of her life.

Gabriella recently underwent a major open-heart surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. What was expected to be a complex procedure became an incredibly challenging 17-hour operation, with significant complications along the way. Since then, Gabriella has remained in critical condition, relying on life support as she continues to fight with extraordinary strength and determination.

One of the major challenges Gabriella is currently facing is a collapsed lung with fluid surrounding it, making it extremely difficult for her body to maintain adequate oxygen levels. Her dedicated medical team is working tirelessly around the clock, doing everything possible to support her through this critical stage of recovery.

Despite the seriousness of her condition, Gabriella continues to show incredible courage, resilience, and strength. Every day is a testament to her fighting spirit as she battles through unimaginable challenges.

As Samantha and her family remain by Gabriella’s bedside, focusing all of their energy on supporting her recovery, they are also facing significant financial pressures. Medical expenses, travel costs, accommodation, lost income, and the ongoing costs associated with a prolonged hospital stay are creating an enormous burden during an already heartbreaking time.
