Help Gabriela & Derek open 'wolfpeach' restaurant

Hi! We are Gabriela Acero & Derek Richard, and we are in the process of opening a restaurant in Camden, ME. While we have always been interested in opening our own restaurant, the idea to do so really solidified in 2019 when COVID decimated our industry and exposed so many long standing problems. We are so inspired to try to build a different model, one that is sustainable for us, our employees, and everyone who we work with, from farmers to winemakers, and to our guests. It is incredibly important to us that wolfpeach is a community focal point, and with that intention we have decided to open as a no-tipping establishment, that covers the full cost of healthcare for its full-time employees, and also that is open year round to welcome our local community members.

In the interest of staying true to these ideals, we are opening without any investors. We thus look to you to assist us with a few final projects we need to accomplish before opening. Any funds received will support:

1. building a back bar

2. re-plumbing the dish pit

3. buying final items such as tables, chairs, glassware, etc.
