My sister has pulmonary mass on her left lung measuring 11.9 x 12.2 x 14.2cm. She is diagnosed with Non Hodgkin B Cell Lymphoma and she is on her 4th cycle of chemotherapy. Her treatment protocol is R-CHOP. But unfortunately, we could not afford the Rituximab which specifically attacks the Non Hodgkin B Cells. For the first two chemotherapy, the CT Scan results show that her mass decreased into 7.3 x 11.0 x 13.0 cm, which was a good sign, however, after her 3rd session, complications arose as she had developed pneumonia, and her left lung is filled with water. Her 4th session was delayed because her pneumonia had to be treated with antibiotics first before her 4th session with chemotherapy. She really had a hard time right after her 4th cycle of chemotherapy as she could not lie down on her back to rest anymore. Even when her bed was already at a highly inclined position, she is still having trouble resting and unable to breathe properly. She has been breathless too often. Lately, she has been rushed to emergency rooms frequently due to the symptoms of her cancer and the fact that she is breathless quite often. She has already been sleepless for 3 days straight now due to having a hard time breathing whenever she tries to lay down on her back to rest. She tries her best to eat solid food but tends to choke on her food every time she tries to eat. because she is in great pain. Recently, one of the doctors said that Non Hodgkin B Cell Lymphoma is very reactive to chemotherapy, around 70% of lymphoma patients react to chemotherapy and most likely the results for patients were 50% decreased in volume of the mass. Unfortunately, we couldn't provide her the right treatment due to Rituximab's cost is really high. It costs roughly 100k plus. And as much as we want to keep her safe and healthy as possible, we could not afford a private room to isolate her from anyone that might and could danger her health. As she is really delicate as a flower. The slightest coughs and colds of anyone can worsen her healing process. Our mild coughs and colds instantly lead to pneumonia. Sadly we have failed to provide her own room as we do not have enough money to make that happen for her. for we only solely depend on the service ward wherein it is subsidized by the government as we only get to pay part of the payment for the hospital bills. Please help her. Help us prolong her life. We are in dire need of help. We don't have enough funds to cover all her medical needs. It would mean so much to us to have our sister live the life she deserved. Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding"
