My name is Gabriela Almenar. A year ago, I had an accident at work that left me with several damaged disks, multiple muscle sprains, and injuries to both my cervical and spinal cord. These injuries resulted in paralysis in my hand and right leg if I walk or do physical activity. For months, I have battled with lawyers and doctors so I can get the treatment needed. I've been in and out of the hospital multiple times, due to the increased risk of having my legs and arms paralyzed.

I closed the case with the company I work for because they were fighting for their own needs and using the excuse that I’m young, denying treatment but accepting my disability and multiple diagnoses from doctors saying that I need surgery on my spine so I can get my life back.

And now I have the opportunity to get the surgeries I need to walk without pain and the fear of my body parts being paralyzed. I’m reaching out for your help to reach this goal so I can get the treatment.

The funds would be used to cover my spine surgery, doctor’s visit, scanning needed and the surgery due to how sensitive it is to operate on the nerves. And specialist like pain management treatments, daily therapy required for more than 8 weeks. Each session cost 120$. Medication and other expenses needed to cover during and after the surgery.
