My name is Gabriel Villarreal, I'm 42 years old, father of 3 wonderful kids: Two 13-year-old twins, a boy and a girl Alejandro & Andrea (Chichi); and a 5-year-old girl Adriana and married for more than 15 years to an amazing and strong women named Fiorella.
Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with a NON-KERATINIZING SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA located at my right nasal, invading my right eye and brain.
As the mass is big and close to my eyes and brain, my treatment will consist of 4 to 6 chemotherapy sessions to shrink it in order to be able to proceed with surgery extraction. After surgery, I will receive both radio and chemotherapy in order to get cured.
The treatment probably will take approximately from 14 to 16 weeks. Within this period of time, my working capability will be limited and our expenses will be rising due to doctor's and medicine co-payments, nutritionist, special diet, vitamins, as well as additional help at work and home.
This is creating a terrible financial stress for my family, as I am self-employed and owner of my own business; and I contribute to about 60% of our household income. It will be almost impossible for me to be able to perform normally in my job, putting at risk my family's well being.
For these reasons, I am kindly asking for your generosity in order to help alleviate my family for the time while I'm not able to do it. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. I don't have enough words to thank all of you who decide to help.

Hace dos semanas fui diagnosticado con NO KERATINIZANTE CARCINOMA DE CELULAS ESCAMOSAS localizado en mi lado derecho de mi cara el cual está invadiendo mi ojo derecho y mi cerebro.
El tumor ha venido creciendo rápidamente y el tratamiento consiste en 4 to 6 sesiones de quimioterapias para hacerlo más pequeño y entonces poder operarlo y extraerlo. Después de la cirugía recibiré radio y quimioterapia para proseguir el proceso de curación.
El tratamiento tomará probalmente entre 14 y 16 semanas, período en el cual mi capacidad laboral se verá notablemente disminuida y limitada mientras que nuestros gastos como familia se incrementarán debido a pagos por doctores, medicina, nutrición especial, co-pagos , vitaminas, etc.
Esta situación está creando un terrible estrés financiero a mi familia, ya que trabajo en mi propio negocio y contribuyo con cerca del 60% de los ingresos del hogar. Como lo han planteado los médicos, será para mi imposible poder trabajar de la forma como siempre lo hago mientras esté en la búsqueda de mi cura.
