Support Independent Work: Gabriel Kennedy’s Recovery & Creative Bridge
I’m Gabriel Kennedy. I’m a writer, researcher, musician, visual artist, and podcaster. For over twenty years, I’ve created music, writing, and visual art, sharing my work directly with readers, listeners, and independent thinkers outside the mainstream media structure.
Right now, a physical injury is making it incredibly difficult to keep things moving.
Since April 2026, a severe injury has significantly limited my physical mobility. I am scheduled for surgery in January 2027, which requires a mandatory two-month recovery period. Because of this, the hands-on work I usually rely on to stay afloat isn't possible. Managing this injury while living out of my vehicle has brought things to a standstill, and I am trying to build a stable bridge to get through the winter and my upcoming recovery phase.
I create my work for a community, seeking truth outside corporate structures. To keep my work going, I need a bit of baseline stability over the next few months. Your support will go directly three basic needs; Vehicle & Transit Costs like keeping my vehicle reliable for shelter and getting to medical appointments, Basic Essentials like food, winter utilities, and secure temporary housing for when car-living will be physically very tough post-surgery, and finally for the expenses that will accrue from having two months of forced leave from the labor force after the surgery.
This $3,000 goal is about finding stability so I can focus entirely on finishing the audiobook for my Chapel Perilous supporters, completing my second book, launching a class, and continuing the Prop Anon Podcast.
If you value independent writing and creative resilience, please consider contributing. Right now, everything helps. If you aren't able to donate, sharing this link with your network means a lot.
Thank you for backing independent work and helping me get through this chapter so I can focus on the projects ahead.
