This GoFundMe was made to help Gabriel & give his family the support they need. One day during his prime College years, Gabriel woke up and noticed his eyesight was blurry {like a bathroom mirror after a hot shower}. Later that week, it continued to get worse, and he ended up completely losing his vision. This hit me deeply because losing your vision is one of the scariest things to have done. He soon lost many friends, his extrovertedness and, at times, his hope of ever seeing again. His current medications caused him to gain 100+ lbs, and he underwent 7+ surgeries to help recover his vision. This money will help Gabriel and his family afford his medical bills, purchase anything to make this process less depressing, and ultimately, one day help him see the world with his own two eyes. I made this youtube video of spending the day with Gabriel to let his personality shine and help him overcome his traumatic experiences with women. Since losing his vision, dating has been tricky since he is very vulnerable without being able to see. The last date he went on, the girl set him up and had her friends break into his house to rob him. Stories like this break my heart and I want to use my platform to help my new good friend Gabriel get his life back.
