Help Gabriel Overcome Medical Challenges

Hi everyone! This is Gabriel Mejia. He is 20 years old, who graduated from both college and high school in 2022, and has now been working at Azael Electrical to gain more insight on the electrical field. He loves working, expanding his knowledge, trying new things such as food, or activities, and his family.

Unfortunately, Gabriel isn't fully capable to do all the things a healthy human can perform due to the sickle cell disease he was born with. He is constantly having his organs work double time for simple tasks us "regular" humans can do quite easily. Growing up, due to his disease, other problems came around that have impacted his life negatively. However, Gabriel still tends to push himself forward regardless of the circumstances that surround him. He is by all means a great kid with an amazing work ethic despite his diagnosis. Working alongside him has been a blessing. Especially watching him grow up before your very eyes.

It pains me to say at the moment, Gabriel has been battling for his life at the hospital for two weeks after suffering brain clots. For the time being he is non verbal and has not regained his basic motar controls. His mom, Dunia Mejia, has been by his side through these tough times, but due to this, they haven't been able to work and have any income coming in. They are in fact the breadwinners between only the two of them. They are a great family that not only beleives but practice servitude in everyway shape or fashion. We might not be able to give Gabriel a cure for the time being, but we at least would like to provide some form of relief.

Doctors are expecting Gabriel to regain his speech and motar controls with due time, but for the moment is currently recovering after multiple procedures. His mother as mentioned will be his caretaker until further notice. Due to the financial hardships of piling medical expenses , as well as the lack of income, we would like to ask for donations of any kind to help this small family of two. Trust me, Gabriel is nowhere near the kind of guy that would ask for a handout. But I cannot think of anyone more deserving than this young man. He has a bright future ahead of him and deserves all the praise he recieves. For now please assist us to get him the help him and his family need. God Bless!! We believe in you Gabriel !
